Offered for sale is a truly superb Art Nouveau era ring (circa 1900s to 1910s), crafted beautifully in 14k yellow gold.
The face of a graceful woman, with flowers wound in her long hair, offers a charming look.
Art Nouveau jewelry formed a distinct feminine style that drew motifs from nature featuring peacocks, dragonflies, snakes, flowers and nymphs.
An all original Art Nouveau ring (not a reproduction) in lovely condition that would make a great addition to your fine antique jewelry collection.
Particulars:
Weight: 2.6 grams
Stones: Two approx. .02 carat single cut diamonds and one approx. .02 carat blue sapphire are beautifully embedded into the mount.
Size & Measurements: The ring is a size 6 1/2 (sizable). UK size N. The mount measures 15mm in diameter (1/4 inch) and the ring rises 2mm from the finger.
Metal & Hallmark: Solid 14k yellow gold. The ring is not hallmarked though it has tested positive for 14k gold.
