Offered for sale is a truly superb Art Nouveau era ring (circa 1900s to 1910s), crafted beautifully in yellow gold.
Coral has been carved in the form of an elegant woman. Art Nouveau jewelry formed a distinct feminine style that drew motifs from nature featuring peacocks, dragonflies, snakes and flora and fauna.
An all original Art Nouveau ring (not a reproduction) in lovely condition that would make a great addition to your fine antique jewelry collection.
Particulars:
Weight: 4 grams
Stones: One piece of carved croal measuring 15mm x 10mm is beautifully embedded into the mount. The coral is in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips. Note: due to the age oft he ring the coral has worn down somewhat (as seen in the photos).
Size & Measurements: The ring is a size 6 1/2 (sizable). UK size N. The mount measures 18mm in length and 12mm in width and the ring rises 6mm from the finger.
Metal & Hallmark: Solid 10k yellow gold. The ring is hallmarked "10k".
