Offered for sale is a truly superb Art Deco era necklace (circa 1920s to 1930s), crafted beautifully in 18k yellow gold.
An ornate, finely made chain with a nice heavy feel is set with alternating links of green enamel and lusturous cultured pearls.
A French made piece by the famed Manfredi and Weiss. Certainly a rare find on the market today.
A delightful all original Deco necklace (not reproduction) that would make a wonderful addition to your fine antique jewelry collection.
Particulars:
Weight: 37.2 grams
Stones: A total of four 6mm cultured pearls are beautifully embedded into the chain. Note: the enameled links are in excellent condition and free of cracks or chips.
Size & Measurements: The necklace measures 19 1/4 inches in length and 4mm in width.
Metal & Hallmark: Solid 18k yellow gold.The necklace is hallmarked "750" for 18k gold in addition to the Manfredi & Weiss hallmark (see photo).
